BDAR is excited to offer adult dog and puppy classes! This is a new program so we appreciate your patience while we work out any kinks. Maddi Haak, our Animal Care Manager, will be leading these classes.

Puppy Basics: $125, 4 classes
Enroll your new family member into Puppy Basics to help your puppy develop into a happy, healthy dog! Class curriculum includes:
Teaching puppies basic commands
Socializing with people, other animals, and new environments
Leash Training and Housetraining
Preparing your puppy for veterinary exams, grooming, and nail trims
Understanding puppy development and what to expect as your dog ages
REQUIREMENTS
Aged between 12 weeks and 5 months
Two Distemper Combo (DA2PP or DHPP) vaccine boosters
Bordetella vaccine
No history of aggression towards other animals or people
Not currently experiencing any symptoms of infectious respiratory disease, diarrhea, or vomiting
New Class Sessions Start Every 8 Weeks. Please fill out our application and our trainer will contact you to discuss the next available start date.
ADULT BASICS - COMMUNICATION AND MANNERS: $125, 4 CLASSES
This class is for adult dogs of all ages and focuses on building trust with your dog while learning basic manners. Class curriculum includes:
Teaching basic commands such as sit, stay, come, place, and “look at me”
Encouraging positive social interactions with people and other animals
Stress-free handling for veterinary exams, grooming, and nail trims
Understanding developmental stages of dogs and how dogs communicate.
REQUIREMENTS:
Aged over 6 months
Spayed or Neutered
Current on all vaccinations:
Rabies
Distemper Combo Vaccine (DA2PP or DHPP)
Bordetella
No history of aggression towards other animals or people.
Not currently experiencing symptoms of infectious respiratory illness, vomiting or diarrhea.
