Big Things Are Happening

We’re building a surgical suite onsite at our adoption center. This critical resource will allow us to intake dogs and cats more efficiently. It also gives us the opportunity to provide a low-cost spay and neuter clinic to Laramie County! We started this campaign on Giving Tuesday in 2019 and look forward to updating you on our progress. Follow along below!

Timeline

AUGUST 2021 - We held our first-ever Community Vaccine Clinic on Saturday, August 21. We vaccinated over 50 animals!

MAY 2021 - Zoie Keast is hired as the Shelter Clinic Project Manager and hits the ground running!

2020 - COVID-19 puts plans on hold.

DECEMBER 2019 - GivingTuesday raises $19,592 to kickstart the project including $5,000 match from Kevin O’Hare

Words of Encouragement from Giving Tuesday Donors!

“Thank you for all you do! The clinic is a fantastic goal.”

“Thank you for the amazing work you’re doing”

“There aren't words adequate enough to explain how much this means to us personally as well as to our community.  Thank you so very much, friends!!!”

“Thank you BDAR for being an advocate for dogs and cats deserving a better life and love of a family.”

“This donation for #GivingTuesday is given in honor of Chelsey Fletcher's Toby and Sara Ellis' fosters, especially the Wyoming Kittens - those still with us and those who passed.  Had mama Laramie been spayed, those little ones would not have endured such suffering and short lives.”

“Happy Giving Tuesday!  I so admire the work your organization does!  My donation is made in memory of my own black rescue dog, Wallace.”

“Love BDAR! Can't wait to see them have a spay and neuter clinic of their very own!”
