Happy Endings for Ghost (now named Quill)
2010 Quills New Year
What a good 6 months it has been! My
parents adopted me July 4th, 2009 (which they technically call my birthday now). I will
be 3 yrs old this year! I 
have an older fur-brother. His name is Cinch. He is pictured
with the red harness. He does agility. Mom
says I get to learn too and see if I like it! I
love to run super fast, though still young, I
have a short attention span….huh? what
was I doing…oh yeah! Woof!
I was nervous on my ride to my home and now I LOVE going
for rides and seeing new sights! My mom even cracks my
window to smell stuff when I ride with her! We often go to
the “grandparents” house so I can run in the pastures and
stretch my long legs when I get 
wound up and restless in
town!
The past 6 months I 
have fallen in love with bones, my bed, my“ball” play times in the park (I’m learning to fetch) and my dad
gave me my very own couch with pillows where I chill…maybe
that’s why my nick-name is Chiller-Quiller!
I have also attended classes so that I can be on my utmost
behavior! I got to meet new friends and playmates, got plenty of
goodies and learned everything very fast! My dad was proud of
me! My mom had my brother…(groan)…he’s in the upper division
class. I’m working on catching up!!
I still don’t like my baths or my toe
nail trims, but I’m getting better at
it. My parents are patient with me
and they always give good belly
rubs (my favorite) when done! I
must say I think I’m a perfect fit!
