Happy Endings for Ozzie (now: Farley)

My new name is Farley and I live in Loveland CO now. My favorite things are sleeping on the couch, running through the field, and riding in the car - any car - doesn't matter, just who ever will give me a ride. (My new owners are not sure that is a good thing.)

 

I live with a little dog who I step on because I don't look down when I walk and with a cat who scares me alot. I don't like thunder, the vacuum, any loud or abrupt noises, and hate being left behind. My vet thinks I was hit on the back of the head very hard once and that explains my tremors, clumsiness, and vision issues. I have learned the command "Wait" and that keeps me from running into the glass storm door.

 

I do pretty good getting around except the slippery wood floors can cause me some trouble. When things get loud I just high tail it to my bed in the other room. We go on long walks and I have decided I am a country dog not a city dog! My family learned recently my favorite smell in the whole world is ... BBQ!!!  

 

I have gained healthy weight (NOT from BBQ) and the little dog is getting chunky because I share my breakfast. I enjoy being petted and am learning to trust the people who come and visit.

 

I am a satisfied happy dog and I thank you for saving my life. Please see the next two email pictures for other glimpses into my new home.
