Happy Endings for Chili

Chili and Paisley hiking in Red Rocks |
Best friends forever :) Sleeping after their five mile hike |
We have had little "Chili Bean" aka "Baby Bean" aka "Jumping Bean" for almost a week now and could not be happier that she has joined our family. She was shy at first, and we commented to ourselves that she didn't bark. On her third day with us Chili found her voice! She is rambunctious and loves to play with all the other animals in the house (including the cats who don't mind her at all!).
We have taken her on a couple of hikes and she really loves to run and jump (it's hilarious she truly jumps straight up in the air) around in the tall grass. We have been keeping her entertained with many chew toys as her little baby teeth are falling out and her big girl teeth are pushing through her gums. She also enjoys carrying things around the house, we have been finding dog dishes and shoes in very strange places like our bed :)
Paisley and Chili start their puppy training classes next weekend, she is a very smart girl so we are excited to see how she does in school.
Thank you so much for our new friend!

Dec. 2010: Just another quick update and picture of Chili. She is doing really well.
Given all her energy we have enrolled her in agility school and are using
a ball as her "baby". She is sooo fast!! She can weave cones and jump
hoops. Paisley, my daughter, is having a blast with her and we all just
love having her around the house. The cold weather has been hard on her,
but I knit her an adorable little sweater and she seems to appreciate it
so far. Hope you're well and having luck getting other dogs homes.
Kelly
