BDAR wins $1,000.00 from The Animal Rescue Site and PetFinder.com!
January 25, 2010 -In early November, we found out we had been entered into a nationwide shelter challenge. This event includes any rescues or shelters who actively post adoptable pets on the PetFinder.com database. The challenge ran for several months and required us to reach out to our supporters and ask them to vote for us online once per day, every day until December 20th.
We are proud and excited to report that, even though we started late in the game, our fans really came through for us; resulting in a first prize win for the state! And what does that mean for the animals? How about $1,000.00 grant from the foundation for animal care!
So, this is our official “Thank you!” For your support, for your persistence, for your dedication, and for your belief that we are continuing to provide the best possible care for all of the animals who find their way here. Thank you.
Now, the fun begins again! This time, we’re getting in on the challenge from the beginning. A new shelter challenge started January 18th.
