Black Dog Animal Rescue is seeking interested and qualified individuals to serve on our first Board of Directors

January 2009 - Due to the fact that BDAR does not currently have the capability to rescue any more animals, we have decided to focus our efforts on the administrative and business end of our organization. This includes completing and submitting our application for Federal 501(c)(3) non-profit status, and securing our state licensing.

Part of establishing the organization as a non-profit entity involves recruiting an active and passionate Board of Directors.

We currently have openings for two Board members and are seeking compassionate people to join our team. The short and long-term goals for BDAR are large and involved. We are hoping for someone to join our team who has experience in fundraising and marketing. A passion for helping animals would be beneficial too.

If you would like to learn more about our organization and the plan for the future, please e-mail Britney for a copy of our business plan and a list of expectations from our Board members. Please be prepared to answer questions about your qualifications.
