December 20th marked the most successful adopt-a-thon for BDAR yet!

December 2008 - The wonderful people at A&C Feed in Cheyenne let  us take over their store and bring in 11 dogs for adoption. The dogs were all set up and ready to go by 8:30am, and it's a good thing too as people immediately started coming in to see them!

By 11:30, 4 dogs had been adopted. We bid a fond farewell and a Merry Christmas to long-time residents Leela and Cooper, as well as newbies Molly and Cherokee. It was so exciting to watch all the happy tails exiting the building. Remember, these are dogs that would have otherwise been put to sleep, we were their last hope. It just goes to show how adoptable and rewarding shelter dogs can be!

BDAR would like to thank the community of Cheyenne, A&C Feed, and our wonderful volunteers for helping make this day such a great success!
