The Jackalope 5K is a historic run/walk event hosted by BDAR in Laramie. This year's event is hosted in partnership with High Plains Harriers running club and will be timed.
The course follows a beautiful loop along the Laramie River, starting in Optimist Park. 2018's event includes various race registration options, including last year's popular "virtual participant" option, which allows you to stay at home and still make a difference!
Well-behaved dogs are welcome particpants in this 5k, be sure to register your pooch for their own goodie bag and participant bandana.

Additional Prizes will be awared for those who choose to help fundraise on our behalf! These prizes will be ordered and awarded after the event.
Top Individual Fundraiser - Two zippered Bark Less. Wag More. hoodies, professional portrait session and digital images of one chosen pet.
Top Fundraising Team - (minimum fundraising achievement of $500 required) 4 tickets to BDAR's October 5th Bark and Wine event in Cheyenne, 4 zippered Bark Less. Wag More. hoodies.
Race Day Agenda
7am - Check-in and registration, coffee and donuts, "tail-gate" party activites.
Race Day Registration fees are as follows, t-shirt sizes and doggie bandanas are subject to availability.
Basic registration, Adults - $25
Deluxe registration, Adults - $40
Basic Registration, Youth (under 18) - $15
Deluxe Registration, Youth (under 18) - $30
Register your dog - $15
8am - Race start time, run, walk, and wag along the greenway at Optimist Park
9am - Awards presentation and wrap-up
Please note - this course is not available to us at any other time during the summer - therefore the event will be held regardless of weather conditions. Please dress accordingly.
Pick-up locations for merchandise for virtual participants or those who fail to attend on race day will be announced on our Facebook page and emailed out to particpnats following the race. Merchandise must be picked up within a week of the location announcement.
