Tiboy

Tiboy is a 9 1/2 year old Basset Hound cross, mostly black in color, whose mom/owner unexpectedly passed away.  He has grown up with his littermate, Suzette, so he is attached to her.  Tiboy doesn't have to be placed with Suzette, but they would make a great pair!  He is a quiet, playful, good little dog that weighs only about 30 pounds. Tiboy is current on
vaccinations, neutered and will be getting his teeth cleaned soon.  He is crate trained and friendly, but due to only living with his mom and sister, he isn't too confident around men and kids, though he is slowly warming up to his foster mom's husband and kids.  For the most part, he is potty trained, but his foster mom keeps a very close eye on him, due to his previous living circumstances.  Tiboy is crated at night and when no one is home to watch him.  He loves to spend time outside, but he's just as happy curled up in the house, or even taking a nap in his crate.  He gets along well with cats and the foster home's 2 dogs.  He knows a couple of commands, but definitely needs a fenced in yard.

Suzette

Suzette is a 9 1/2 year old Basset Hound cross, black and white in color, whose mom/owner unexpectedly passed away.  She has grown up with her littermate, Tiboy, so she is attached to him.  Suzette doesn't have to be place with Tiboy, but they are a great match.  She is a playful, good little dog that weighs only about 30 pounds.  She is spayed and is going to have her vaccinations updated soon, along with having her teeth cleaned.  She is crate trained and friendly and is quickly warming up to her foster kids and foster dad.  Suzette likes to play with toys and her brother and enjoys spending time outside, but really enjoys sitting next her foster mom on the couch.  For the most part, Suzette is potty trained, but due to her previous living circumstances, she is crated at night and when no one is home to watch her and her brother.  Suzette gets along well with cats and the foster mom's 2 dogs.  She knows a couple of commands, but definitely needs a fenced in yard.  Suzette and Tiboy used to go on car rides in the Black Hills with their mom and she would sure enjoy doing that again.  If you would like more information regarding Suzette or learn how to adopt her contact Holly at (307)272-8089 or email at bassetrescue@tctwest.net or click here to for our adoption application.
